FREE ASSESSMENT SERVICES of TESDA (FAST)

 

The PGMA - FAST Program is a special project to broaden access of poor but deserving students / workers to TESDA´s assessment and certification services.


The project's objectives are:


  • To ensure that job-ready students/workers obtain certification as an additional credential;
  • To determine the level of qualification.

  • JOB-READY, students and skilled workers.

What are the Qualifications covered by assessment?
  • Assessment shall cover only Qualifications with promulgated Training Regulations (WTR)


Who shall conduct the assessment ?
  • Assessment shall be conducted by TESDA accredited assessors in TESDA Assessment Centers.

Application Requirements for Assessment


  • Duly accomplished Examinee’s Profile Form;
  • Four (4) pcs. latest passport size pictures with name written at the back;
  • Certificate of Training related to the qualification applying for (original and photocopy); and/or
  • Certificate of Employment related to the qualification applying for (original and photocopy)


PROCEDURES FOR APPLICATION FOR ASSESSMENT AT THE Quezon National Agricultural School (QNAS) – TESDA Assessment Center (TAC)


1. The applicant reports to the QNAS-TAC Officer at the Training Management Unit Office, 2nd floor of the QNAS Technical Building.

2. The applicant undergoes preliminary interview by the QNAS-TAC Officer. The Officer issues the applicant a list of requirements, including two (2) pieces of Examinee’s Profile Form and a Self-Assessment Guide for him/her to accomplish.


3. The applicant submits the accomplished two (2) pieces of Examinee's Profile Form and the Self-Assessment Guide. The QNAS-TAC Officer validates the accomplished Self-Assessment Guide to determine the readiness of the applicant for assessment.


4. If ready for assessment, the applicant submits to the QNAS-TAC Officer all the necessary requirements for assessment.


5. The applicant is issued an Admission Slip by the QNAS-TAC Officer. The applicant becomes a candidate for assessment.


NOTE: Assessment will be conducted once target number of candidates or quota per qualification is achieved.
6. The candidate waits for the confirmation of his/her assessment schedule by the QNAS-TAC Officer or his representative by telephone.


7. The candidate undergoes competency assessment as scheduled.


NOTE: FREE Assessment shall be provided for the FIRST TIME ONLY. Re-assessment and assessment in other areas/qualifications shall be charged with the official assessment fee.
